IIM Rohtak to organise workshop on Case Method Teaching
As the number of seats is limited, registration will be confirmed only on paying full registration fee. All participants will receive a participation certificate.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak is all set to organise two-day workshop on Case Method Teaching from December 20 to December 21 in United Services Institute, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. This interactive workshop will train the participants in case-based teaching and prepare them for writing cases for class room and publication.
Case studies are known to be among the most effective teaching strategies for business administration. This workshop will emphasise the value of the case method in the learning of students. It is intended for all those with an interest in using case studies as a teaching tool, as well as those who are interested in development of such teaching cases.
Professor Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak; Professor Anju Seth, Former Director, IIM Calcutta and Professor Amit Jain, Associate Professor, Strategy & Policy, Industrial Systems Engineering and Management are the facilitators of the workshop.
This workshop is primarily meant for faculty in academic institutions who would like to adopt the case method in the classroom. It is also for case researchers and writers interested in developing cases and teaching notes. For corporate learning and development specialists who would like to adopt the case method and learn about case development.
The registration fee for the workshop is INR 11800 (all taxes inclusive). It includes workshop materials, lunch and refreshments for the participants. The registration fee for Doctoral Student/Research Scholars is INR 8000 (all taxes inclusive). As the number of seats is limited, registration will be confirmed only on paying full registration fee. All participants will receive a participation certificate.
