Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) has commenced the admission applications process for its two-year fully residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management). Candidates interested in IRMA admissions 2022 can submit applications online at the admission link at https://www.irma.ac.in/. The last date to submit applications is January 26, 2022. No applications will be accepted without the submission of application fee of 2,000 INR (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST/PwD). Those belonging to the BPL category will be exempted from paying application fees.

Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management Program offered at IRMA prepares talented young managers to assume challenge-filled responsibilities in organizations that serve under-served communities in rural and urban India.

IRMA Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria  

In order to be eligible to apply for IRMA Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management), applicants must be a Graduate from any discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of education. The candidates must possess 50% or above (45% or above for SC/ST/PwD) aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA at the graduation level. Those in the final year of the bachelor’s degree may also apply. However, such candidates have to furnish evidence of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by September 2022. They should also have passed all of their graduation examinations before the start of the program (July 01, 2022). A valid CAT 2021 / XAT 2022 score is a must.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates would be divided into two stages. In stage I, shortlisting will be done on the basis of their CAT 2021 / XAT 2022 scores (whichever is higher). Candidates selected under stage 1 will go further for stage II comprising the Interview Process, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI).

The final selection will be based on the following:

  • CAT 2021 / XAT 2022 Percentiles (35%)
  • Personal Interviews (PI) (35%)
  • Written Ability Test (5%)
  • Academic Performance (5%) (10th Std to Graduation)
  • Gender Diversity (3.5%)
  • (Female and Transgender: 3.5%, Male: 0)
  • Regional Diversity (5%)
  • Sports Diversity (1.5%)
  • Academic Diversity (2%)
  • Academic Pedigree (3%)
  • Work Experience (5%)
