CBSE 10th Science Paper: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted the CBSE Class 10 Science exam today, May 10. As many as 16 lakh students reportedly appeared for the exam. The CBSE Class 10 Science Term 2 Exam was conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Accoding to students who appeared for the examination today, the Science paper was easy but some questions were tricky. Set 1 was mostly based on the CBSE Sample Paper. As for Set 2 and 3, teachers have pointed out that a 4 mark question that was asked was tricky and above average. Students also said that all the questions were from NCERT and nothing was out of syllabus.
As per an expert's review, 50% of the paper was application based and 35% was a test of understanding. Only 15% was recall based. It is a scoring and a balanced paper, he added.

Here's how students reacted on CBSE 10th Science exam:
All questions were divided into three sections:
- Section–A with 7 questions of 2 marks each
- Section–B with 6 questions of 3 marks each
- Section–C with 2 case-based questions of 4 marks each.
(iv) Section C had 2 case based questions (14 and 15). Each case was followed by 3 sub-questions (a, b and c). Parts a and b were compulsory. However, an internal choice was provided in part c.
