CBSE Board exams 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE board exams 2022-23 assessment scheme. In an official notice, CBSE has informed of its decision to go back to the annual scheme of examinations for the assessment year 2022-23 for Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2023. The official notification also reads that the forthcoming sessions a greater number of Competency Based Questions or questions that assess application of concepts in real-life/ unfamiliar situations will be part of the question paper.

In the circular sent to the affiliated schools, the board has stated that for this academic year, there would be only one term or one board examination (as was the norm earlier). The entire syllabus (as per the CBSE Curriculum 2022-23) would be asked in the final examinations. However, the exam pattern has been modified.

CBSE 10th Assessment Scheme 2022-23

For CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2023, question papers would comprise of 40% MCQs of multiple choice questions. 20% would be competency based questions and remaining 40% would constitute of the subjective or short/long answer type questions.

CBSE 12th Assessment Scheme 2022-23

For Class 12, the break up would be 30% competency based, 20 % Objective or MCQ and 50% long/ short type answers.

Meanwhile, the CBSE Board Exams 2022 are currently underway. Class 10 board exams would conclude on May 24 and Class 12 Board Exam 2022 would conclude on June 15, 2022. The CBSE Result 2022 is expected to be out in July.
