CBSE will not fail any student while releasing CBSE Term-1 results. Students will be given only the marks that they have scored in the term 1 examination.

CBSE Term-1 Results 2022: Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 1 Result 2022 soon after the end of the board examinations. For now, CBSE Class 10 Term 1 board exams have already concluded. However, a few vocational subject examinations are still pending and CBSE 12th Term-1 exams are scheduled to end by December 29. Reports suggest that CBSE has started collecting the internal examination data and collating the CBSE Term-1 results.

While the Board has not shared any specific CBSE Term-1 Results date, it is expected that CBSE will announce results for term-1 exams by January 2022.

Schools were informed that the marks of the students and results would be shared soon after completion. Experts are expecting CBSE to announce the results in 10 days’ time, by January 10, 2022. Students can expect an official announcement on CBSE term 1 result date 2021 Class 12 and Class 10 anytime soon. 

CBSE Term 1 Result 2022: Important points to remember while expecting CBSE term 1 result Class 10, 12 for December Exams

  1. It is expected that the Class 10 term 1 result, as well as the CBSE term 1 result Class 12, will be released consecutively. 
  2. CBSE will not fail any student while releasing CBSE Term-1 results. Students will be given only the marks that they have scored in the term 1 examination. Pass or fail would be awarded only after calculating the overall performance of the child in CBSE Term 1 and Term 2 combined.
  3. In the final CBSE Class 10, 12 Result 2022, Term 1 would hold a minimum of 50% weightage, the ratio in which it would be used depends on the mode of the Term 2 examination. The Board would share the CBSE result calculation formula in due course of time.
  4. The Board would share combined marks of the offline MCQ based term 1 exam and the internal assessment. Students must remember that the MCQ was only for the theory portion. Students would be awarded marks out of 50 for Term 1, which would also include the internal assessment marks given by schools to the students in the various subjects.
  5. Students who missed the examination would be marked absent for CBSE Term 1. No average marking will be done this time. However, in the final CBSE result 2022, how the Board would award students marks is not clear.
  6. It is not clear if the Board would share CBSE Mark sheet for the Term 1 examination or not. It is expected that the board would only release CBSE Term-1 result for the students and share the final marksheet after CBSE Term 2 examination.

Meanwhile, the Board is expected to conduct the CBSE Term-1 examination 2022 in the month of April and May. If the pandemic situation remains conducive, the Board would conduct CBSE Term 2 exams in a subjective manner. The term-1 CBSE exams would be of two-hour duration and questions will be in MCQ format along with case study and long-form questions. The Board is expected to release CBSE Term-2 exam dates by the end of January or in early February.
