The application form will open in online mode at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria need to duly fill out and submit their applications before the last date.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will release the application form for CEED 2023 tentatively in 2nd week of September 2022 (or this week). Applications can be filled online at the admission portal of CEED 2023 - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The institute will also release the information brochure along with the application form; it will contain instructions for filling the form, exam dates, fees, eligibility criteria, etc.
The CEED 2023 entrance exam will be conducted in tentatively in the 4th week of January 2023. The exam will have two parts - 1) computer-based Part A, and 2) offline base Part B.

Steps to fill the CEED 2023 application form
The application form for the national-level exam will open in online mode and can be filled by following the steps given here.
- Get registered - You will have to register for the exam using your email id, phone number, and date of birth.
- Check eligibility - The candidate will next be prompted to confirm their eligibility. Complete the process.
- Fill in the form - In this step, enter academic, personal, and contact details.
- Upload documents - Photograph, signature, and academic documents have to be uploaded in the prescribed format.
- Pay the fee - Finally, pay the application fee of INR 3200 (INR 1600 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates) using net banking, credit, or debit cards.
Eligibility Criteria for CEED 2023
It is recommended that the candidate ensures their eligibility for the M.Des and PhD programs before filling the form.
- Qualifying exam - The candidate needs to have passed a degree, diploma, or postgraduate program of a minimum of THREE years (after 10+2).
- Age limit - There is no age limit.
- Number of attempts - There is no cap on the number of attempts.
