Part B paper of only such candidates will be evaluated who meet the cutoff criteria for Part A. Meanwhile, the admission cutoff would be prepared by giving 25% weightage to Part A and 75% weightage to Part B.
The (admission) cut-offs for CEED 2023 will be released by the participating institutes at the time of counseling, which will take place immediately after the declaration of CEED 2023 results. Note that unlike UCEED 2023, wherein IIT Bombay conducts a Joint Admission Process, there will be no Joint Admission Process for CEED. Instead, the participating institutes will conduct their admission process separately.
Candidates who qualify CEED 2023 will have to apply to the participating institutes online for admission based on their CEED 2023 scores.
These institutes will then offer admission based on the merit rank of the candidate and seat available for admission.
CEED 2023 admission cutoff vs Part A cut-off
The CEED 2023 admission cutoff is the last rank for which admission is offered to a program. The admission cutoff would be released by the participating institute.
However, the qualifying marks for Part A of CEED 2023 will be released by IIT Bombay. The Part B paper will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies in Part A.
The final result would be then prepared by giving 25% weightage to Part A and 75% weighate to Part B.
