The cut-off marks would be category-specific. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria would be shortlisted and have their Part B question booklets evaluated.
IIT Bombay will release the category-wise Part A cutoff marks for CEED 2022 and UCEED 2022 on February 10. The Part A cut-off marks are the minimum score a candidate has to secure in Part A question paper, which is conducted in offline mode. The UCEED / CEED 2022 question paper comprises two parts - computer-based Part A and offline-based Part B. The Part B paper of only such candidates will be evaluated who meet the cutoff marks for Part A.
The CEED 2022 and UCEED 2022 exams were conducted on January 23. The results of the CEED 2022 exam will be declared on March 8, while the results of UCEED 2022 will be declared on March 10.
Key Points about Part A cutoff marks for UCEED 2022 and CEED 2022
- The cut-off marks will only be released for the computer-based Part A
- No cut-off marks will be released for Part B, which is subjective-based. Also, there are no model solutions for the subjective paper and thus will be evaluated manually following a set of criteria given in the question.
- All candidates who meet the cut-off marks for Part A for UCEED 2022/ cut-off marks for Part A for CEED 2022 will get shortlisted.
- Part B paper of only such candidates will be evaluated who get shortlisted.
- The CEED 2022 scorecard / UCEED 2022 scorecard will be released for ALL candidates who have appeared in the UCEED/ CEED 2022 entrance exam.
- However, only shortlisted candidates will be allocated a merit rank.
Declaration of UCEED/ CEED 2022 results
The total UCEED 2022 score will be calculated by adding the marks obtained by the candidate in Part A and Part B. This score will be used to prepare the final result/ rank.
In the case of CEED 2022, the final score will be calculated by giving 25% weightage to Part A and 75% weightage to Part B.
There will be no provision for revaluation or re-totaling in CEED 2022/ UCEED 2022. So, requests for revaluation or re-totaling will not be entertained.
IIT Bombay had earlier released the answer keys of Part A for the CEED 2022 and UCEED 2022 exam on January 31. Candidates were able to calculate probable scores and assess their chances of getting shortlisted using the answer key.
