CEED, UCEED 2023 registration begins tomorrow; here’s how to apply

Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) and Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2023 will take place on January 22, 2023. Last date to apply is October 21, 2022.  

The registration process for Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) and Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2023 will start tomorrow (September 30). The last date for students to complete the registration process is October 21, 2022.  Interested candidates can apply for the UCEED/CEED 2023 on the official websites uceed.iitb.ac.in/2023/ and ceed.iitb.ac.in/2023/, respectively. Both CEED and UCEED 2023 will take place on January 22, 2023, in a single shift from 9 am to 12 pm. 

CEED 2023 is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay for admitting candidates to the MDes and PhD courses offered by IISc Bangalore, IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kanpur, Roorkee and many other institutes. 

However, UCEED 2023 is for admission to the BDes programmes offered by participating institutes. There are currently five participating institutes for UCEED 2023 that offer a combined intake of 199 seats for the BDes programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur. 

How to fill UCEED/CEED application form 

• Visit the official website of UCEED/CEED 2023 and fill the registration form. 
• Now click on the “Register now” button 
• Candidates will be redirected to the UCEED/CEED 2023 registration page 
• Now login by using generated credentials and fill the UCEED/CEED 2023 application form 
• Choose UCEED/CEED 2023 exam centre 
• Pay the UCEED/CEED 2023 application fee and submit the application form 

Eligibility criteria for CEED, UCEED 2023 

Candidates who have completed a degree/diploma programme of minimum three years (after 10+2 level), or appearing for the final examination of such a programme by July 2023 can apply for CEED 2023.  However, students who have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2022, or appearing in 2023, in any stream (science, commerce, or arts & humanities) can appear for UCEED 2023.
