The pen-and-paper CLAT 2022 exam will be conducted on June 19. The application form may be filled by candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
The Consortium of NLUs has extended the last date for submission of the CLAT 2022 application form to May 9 (from March 31). The application form may be filled by candidates seeking admission to the 5-year integrated LLB and one-year LLM program offered by the 22 participating NLUs. The CLAT 2022 commenced on March 31, 2022.

The consortium of NLUs has also rescheduled the CLAT 2022 exam, which will now be conducted on June 19; the exam was originally scheduled to be held on May 8, 2022.
Steps to fill the CLAT 2022 application form
- Online registration - Click on the link given above to go to the registration page. Fill in details like name, mobile number, and email id. Also select and confirm a password for the new applicant account.
- Fill in the form - The candidate will have to fill in his or her personal, candidate and academic details.Also select an exam center; up to three centers can be selected in the order of priority.
- Pay the application fee - Submit the form to go to the payment page. The application fee is Rs. 4000 (Rs. 3,500 for SC/ST/BPL candidates) and has to be paid in online mode using net banking, credit or debit cards.
Note: If the candidate wants to opt for previous years’ question papers, then an additional amount of Rs. 500 would have to be paid.
CLAT 2022 exam pattern
The CLAT 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode and will be of 2 hours duration. The exam will be conducted on June 19 (from 2-4 pm). The question paper for the UG admission will include 150 objective-type questions of 1 mark each. Meanwhile, the PG paper will include 120 objective questions of 1 mark each.
