CLAT 2025 Result To Be REVISED; Delhi HC Division Bench Refuses to Stay Single Bench Order

CLAT 2025 Result: In a significant development, the Division Bench of the Delhi High Court has refused to stay the single-judge bench's order directing the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) to announce revised results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. The single bench, led by Justice Jyoti Singh, had earlier ruled that errors identified in the CLAT question paper and answer key must be rectified, and marks should be revised accordingly.

The controversy arose after Aditya Singh, a 17-year-old CLAT candidate, filed a petition, who highlighted discrepancies in specific questions in the CLAT paper. Among the flagged questions, Question 14 and Question 100 were pointed out as erroneous. After examining the case, the single-judge bench determined that Question 14 had a clear mistake in its answer options, while Question 100 was deemed invalid altogether.

As a result of these errors, the Court directed the CNLU to make the necessary corrections and issue revised results, which would be applicable to all CLAT candidates. This ruling raised concerns about the potential implications for the CLAT 2025 admissions process.
