CMAT 2022 Exam Being Held Today in 124 Cities

CMAT 2022 exam being held today for admission to over 1,300 MBA colleges that accept CMAT score for admission. Check key points.

The NTA is conducting CMAT 2022 exam today from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at various examination centres in 124 cities across India. About 70,000 students are expected to appear for this national level MBA entrance test. This year, the exam has been delayed. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the CMAT used to be conducted in January.

CMAT is a computer based test in which candidates have to solve 100 MCQs from Language Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Innovation and Entrepreneurship subjects. There is no sectional time limit, thus candidates can choose to solve the paper as they want.

CMAT 2022 Exam Day

Since last year, CMAT is conducted with COVID-19 protocols. Candidates are supposed to reach the examination centre as the reporting time mentioned in their admit card. They are supposed to carry personal drinking water and hand sanitizer (50 ml). Wearing of facemask is mandatory. Candidates will be given three-ply mask at the centre. They are supposed to remove their own mask and wear the one provided at the centre.

Candidates must maintain physical distancing and follow all the instructions inside the examination venue and hall. The exam will be conducted under CCTV surveillance, thus candidates must not resort to any unfair means.

What After CMAT Exam

After the CMAT 2022 exam, the NTA will release answer key and response sheets of candidates. The CMAT 2022 answer key is expected to be release a few days after the exam (April 11-15). Candidates will be able to download their answer keys from the CMAT 2022 website. The NTA will also provide the opportunity of challenging the official CMAT 2022 answer key. Any candidate who feels a particular question is wrong, they can raise objection by filling an online form at the exam website. The answer key challenge window will be opened for four days.

After all the objections have been received, the examination authority will analyse them. In case any objection is found to be valid, the official CMAT answer key will be revised. The revised answer key will be released as final answer key and the CMAT 2022 result will be based on it.

CMAT is an AICTE approved entrance test, which is valid for admission to about 1,300 MBA colleges across India. These colleges fix admission cut offs and determine selection criteria individually. CMAT candidates have to apply to CMAT accepting colleges for admission individually. Some of the popular CMAT accepting colleges include XIME, Bangalore, Christ University Institute of Management, WeSchool Mumbai-Welingkar Institute of Management, Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad (IMS Ghaziabad), Jagannath International Management School (JIMS), D Y Patil University School of Management (DYPUSM), KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar (KSOM), among others.
