The UGC on May 13 gave a nod to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to establish an off-campus center at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. However, as per the new notice, “the approval for Amaravati Campus may be treated for the academic year 2021-2022.”
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, deemed-to-be-university, has announced that it will be starting an off-campus center at Faridabad. The University has also got approval for 12 courses from the University Grants Commission (UGC). The UGC on May 13 gave a nod to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to establish an off-campus center at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. However, as per the new notice, “the approval for Amaravati Campus may be treated for the academic year 2021-2022.”
The UGC has allowed Amrita University to offer the following programmes for the academic year 2022-23:
- BSc Medical Radio Technology (MRT)
- BSc Emergency Medical Technology (EMT)
- BSc Intensive Care Technology (MRT)
- Master of Hospital Administration
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- MSc Bio Statistics
- MSc MLT-Pathology
- MSc MLT Biochemistry
- MSc MLT Microbiology
- MSc Molecular Medicine
- MSC Nano Biotechnology
- MSc Nanosciences and Technology
It must be noted that the research programmes for the academic year 2022-23 will be conducted under - MSc MLT-Pathology, MSc Bio-Statistics, MSc Molecular Medicine and MSc Nanoscience and Technology. “The said off-campus shall be reviewed by the Commission after a period of five years from the date of Notification by the Government,” the UGC informed.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham: MBA Entrance Test Registration
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is now inviting applications for MBA Entrance Test, AMET 2023. All those candidates who will clear the same will be eligible to take admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The entrance exam is expected to be conducted in the first week of March 2023.
