Atria University, Bangalore has begun the admission process for the academic year starting from 2021. The varsity has released the first round of application form for the founding batch on its official website. Candidates interested to apply can submit the first round application form for the founding batch on or before January 3, 2021. Before filling the application form, candidates need to register themselves by submitting their various personal details such as name, valid email ID, mobile number and address.

Students must note that the application process of Atria University is completely online. The university’s admission process is designed to understand the views, interests, passions and ambitions of candidates. The admissions process focuses on the student’s life story and unique qualities. Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Students Engagement and Interaction Day (SEID), where they get to demonstrate their capabilities by working on a real-world project with peers.

Based on the SEID and application form assessment, the admission decision is shared with the student. The varsity provides both need and excellence-based scholarships for selected candidates. A sum of Rs. 20 crores have also been allocated by the varsity, as financial aid, exclusively for its founding batch. The Atria University provides a curriculum that helps students to develop skills across STEM and the Liberal Arts. This way, candidates can build their degree program (BBA, BDes, BSc or BTech) in futuristic domains of Interactive Technologies, Life Sciences, Mobility, Energy Sciences, and Digital Transformation.

While commenting on the curriculum, Sunder Raju, Founder of Atria University, said, “The future working world will demand interconnected competencies and our liberal sciences curriculum ensures that our students are prepared to take on the world. We believe that it’s about time for the Indian higher education system to steer away from a ‘theory first’ approach and move towards an inquiry-based learning that addresses real-world problems.” After completing 18 months in their selected programme, candidates can pick a major degree combination. They also get to work over 30 industry-driven projects from the first year onwards.
