Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University has suspended all its classes till April 1 and has postponed its examinations too.
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University has announced that it has cancelled all its classes and examination till April 1 amid the ongoing coronavirus scare in the country.
As per the announcement made by the exam controller of the university, all the examination that falls in between this period will be postponed until further notice.
The total number of coronavirus cases recorded in India as on Tuesday was 137. As per the data released by the Health Ministry, 13 people have been discharged which also includes three patients from Kerala. The death toll due to COVID-19 in the country has reached three.
In order to avoid its spread, many states in the country have opted for the closure of their educational institutions till March 31. The highest number of cases recorded in the country till now is from Maharashtra followed by Kerala.
As per the guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO), the only way this infection can be avoided from spreading is by reducing public gathering, and social exposure. Following this, many schools, colleges, and other educational institutes have not only shut down their campus but also canceled all academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities until further notice.
