According to Professor Verma, The course SHARP can be taken by school students of class 9 onwards, college students, Physics teachers and others interested in enjoying Physics.
The novel coronavirus outbreak led to the closure of thousands of academic institutions. Classes are suspended, examinations are canceled, and millions of students are forced to study from home. Amid this time of crisis, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) professor, HC Verma decided to start free online classes ‘Stay Home And Revise Physics (SHARP)’ for students of class 9 onwards. According to Professor Verma, The course SHARP can be taken by school students of class 9 onwards, college students, Physics teachers and others interested in enjoying Physics.
The courses will enable students to understand complex Physics theories through simple Physics experiments. The courses will cover some basic principles of Physics and will describe them through a few simple experiments. The IIT-K Professor will not only be seen performing experiments, but the analysis and theory behind the experiment will also be explained by him. Start April 2, 2020, onwards, these classes will be available on a weekly basis. However, after enrolment, students can access any lecture, any time.
