Admissions are open for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry (BSCBCH) and other courses at IGNOU. Biochemistry is a laboratory-based interdisciplinary science serving as a bridge between Biology and Chemistry. The last date to apply is June 30, 2023.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has notified that admission is open for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry (BSCBCH) July 2023 admission cycle. The last date to apply for the programme is June 30, 2023.

Eligible students can apply for Government of India Scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal at https://scholarships.gov.in/ after confirmation of admission. 

The eligibility requirement is 10+2 in science. The minimum duration to complete the course is 3 years and the maximum duration is 6 years. The fee for the course is INR 14,500 per year.

Biochemistry is a laboratory-based interdisciplinary science serving as a bridge between Biology and Chemistry.

Major highlights of the programme - as per UGC CBCS, designed and developed by experts from all across the country, easy online access to self-learning material, and audio and video resources for augmented learning.

Admission open for PGDSAT

The programme aims to provide knowledge and hands-on training to learners in selected areas of statistics and to develop their skills in the use of statistical tools for analysing industrial, socio-economic and business data. The eligibility requirement is graduate in any subject. The fee is INR 7600. Admission is also open for PG Diploma in GeoInformatics (PGDGI). The target groups include defence and law enforcement personnel, faculty members from HEIs and school teachers interested to teach related courses, working professionals with little or no prior experience and graduates interested in developing skills in this field.
