UGC NET 2024 Jan 16 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the UGC NET exam tomorrow January 16, 2025, in two shifts. The UGC NET Dec session exam shift 1 will commence at 9 AM and conclude at 12 PM. Whereas UGC NET 2024 shift 2 will be held from 3 to 6 PM. In shift 1, the UGC NET 2024 Jan 16 exam will be held for Sociology, German, Sindhi and French (French Version).

UGC NET 2024 Dec Exam Day Instructions
While going for the exam candidates must check the below-mentioned UGC NET exam day instructions:
- They must carry a printed copy of UGC NET admit card, a valid ID proof, and two passport-sized photographs identical to the ones uploaded in the UGC NET application form.
- Do not bring electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators), study materials, or personal belongings into the examination hall.
- Candidates must carefully read the instructions displayed on the computer screen before the exam begins.
- As the UGC NET exam is computer-based, rough sheets will be provided for calculations. These must be submitted to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.
- Candidates are permitted to leave the exam hall only after obtaining permission from the invigilator and ensuring all rough sheets are returned.

Q: What is the exam shift timing for UGC NET exam?
The UGC NET exam is conducted in two shifts morning and evening. The NTA (National Testing Agency) will conduct the December session exam in more than 200 centres across India in several districts. The exam shift timing of the UGC NET 2024 exam is as follows: a) First Shift - 9.00 am to 12.00 pm b) Second Shift: 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm The candidates are advised to report to the exam centre 30 minutes before the GATE closing time to avoid any mishap at the exam centre.
