The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a new BA course in applied Sanskrit. The course is three-year undergraduate course and will be delivered in Hindi medium. All those candidates who are interested can now apply for the course by visiting the official website; i.e. ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Candidates must note that to be eligible for the course they should have successfully completed Class 12 from a recognised education (state or national) board.
IGNOU: Steps to apply for BA applied Sanskrit course
Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to apply for BA Applied Sanskrit Course:
- Go to the official website- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- Registered users can login by keying in the required details. New users will have to register
- Key in the personal information, education qualifications required
- Upload all the required documents and images, and pay the application fee
- Submit the form
- Download and save it for future reference.
All those candidates who will be admitted will have to pay the tuition fee of INR 4,500 per year along with the other charges such as the registration fee and development charges. Recently, IGNOU also launched a new BA course on Gender Studies (BAGS) in Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode. The tuition fee for the programme will be INR 4000 per year.
