According to the official data, close to 350 students from the Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology (MLRIT) received placement opportunities this academic year.

MLRIT Placement 2020: Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology (MLRIT)  placement 2020 witnessed an overwhelming response from companies during its placement drive for this academic year. According to the official data, close to 350 students from Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology (MLRIT) received placement opportunities this academic year. The response received during the 2020 placement drive gathered attention considering the ongoing pandemic situation. While there are constant layoffs going on in various companies, industries' big names offered generous job offers to the MLRIT students. Companies such as ITC, Virtusa, upGrad, etc. participated in the MLRIT placement drive. 

The technology institute shared the experience of the placement drive through an official press release. The press release stated, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the MLRIT was able to provide internships, both paid and free, for about 70 students of pre-final year in companies such as Virtusa, TCS, upGrad, ITC, Verzeo and Sandvik. Talking about the upcoming job offers, the management also assured the parents that many more reputed companies such as Capgemini, Virtusa, Optum, LTI, Epam Systems, TEKsytems and Hexaware are on the hunt for young talent and will conduct virtual interviews with the students.

The official press release further stated, the students felt very happy as they could get placement opportunities even in this pandemic situation. The parents thanked the management of MLRIT for ensuring their trust to stand up for what had been promised towards their wards. 

Academic institutions in the country are closed since the month of March due to the outbreak of the deadly virus COVID-19. Schools and colleges are exploring different ways to conduct academic activities such as exams, classes, placement drives, convocations, etc.
