Patna University (PU) has announced that it will hold its convocation on March 28. The convocation ceremony will be held at the newly-built Veronica auditorium of the Patna Women’s College (PWC). During the convocation ceremony, the University toppers of different subjects will be awarded both gold medals and degrees. The ceremony will be attended by the governor-cum-chancellor of the state universities, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar as the chief guest.
As per the PU Vice-chancellor Professor Girish Kumar Chaudhary, "the university has invited online applications on its official website from the PG and PhD passouts of 2021 and 2022 batches for convocation registration till March 23. The university has fixed a fee of INR 1900 for each PhD degree holder, INR 700 for certificate and INR 1200 for convocation apparel and INR 1200 per student for PG and PG diploma degree holder."
"All students registered for the convocation can collect their convocation dress from their respective departments and colleges on March 26 and 27," the VC said.
"The registered candidates can download their entry cards from the university website before the convocation date, so that they do not face any difficulty in entry to the convocation venue on March 28," Prof Chaudhary said. He further said that university officials are working hard to make the convocation ceremony a success.
