All those candidates who have qualified for the national eligibility test conducted by UGC/CSIR or such national-level examination recognised by the university as equivalent and awarded a junior research fellowship, can apply for the admission.

Pondicherry Universit Admissions 2022: Distance courses

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) at Pondicherry University has begun the admission process for various courses for the academic year 2022-23. All the candidates who wish to enroll can do so on or before March 31.  The entire admission process has been automated by the directorate to enable the students to submit the application forms and pay fees online. The directorate has 29 faculty members, 17 professors as course coordinators, and several full-time teaching faculty members and administrative staff. It is celebrating its silver jubilee this year.

The directorate offers four postgraduate programmes - MCom (finance) and MA in English, Hindi and Sociology and eight undergraduate programmes in business administration, commerce, English, economics, history, political science, sociology and journalism and mass communication. The directorate also offers 20 courses, including eight MBA programmes in marketing, finance, human resource management, international business, general administration, tourism, operations and supply chain management and hospital management.
