Rajasthan Governor appoints VCs at three state universities

These VCs have been appointed for three years from the date of taking charge or till they attain the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra issued orders for the appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor (VC) in three universities of the state.

As per Free Press Journal report, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (Lucknow) Home Sciences Department Dean Sunita Mishra has been appointed as VC of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Commerce and Business Studies Head Professor Keshav Singh Thakur will take charge as VC of Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara. Lucknow University's Public Administration Department Head Professor Manoj Dixit has been appointed as VC of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner.

The vice-chancellors have appointed for three years from the date of taking charge or till they attain the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University: Last date for UG programs registration extends to Aug 10

The university issued a public notice that stated, the last date for registration of the UG programs is extended upto August 10, 2023, (up to 11:59 pm). The candidates who could not appear in the compulsory language examination in the CUET UG 2023 are hereby allowed to register for UG courses for the admissions 2023. Those candidates who could not appear in the minimum number of domain subjects as specified in the prospectus/CUET portal are also allowed to register for the UG courses. However, their merit will be decided on the basis of average of all compulsory domain subjects, by considering "Zero" in the left out subjects. Students are advised to register only after cosnidering the above aspects as no claim in modification in merit will be entertained.
