Ranchi University decided to promote the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (UG) students except for the final semester students. The promotion to the students will be given on the basis of mid-semester and practical marks. According to a report published by a local newspaper, a total of 1.9 lakh students from Ranchi University are expected to be promoted through this process. The departments of the University are asked to submit the marks obtained by the students in mid-semester and practical exams. A few of the postgraduate departments have already submitted marks to the Ranchi University. The result of PG students will be declared in the first phase. Ranchi University will release the result for UG students in the second phase. The evaluation and assessment for the UG and PG students will be done as per the UGC guidelines.
On the other hand, Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee University will conduct an online examination for about 10000 students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. The University has asked the heads of the department to prepare and submit the questions papers according to the syllabus and the online classes. The duration of the university examination will be 2 hours instead of 3 hours. Students must note that the official site of Ranchi University is ranchiuniversity.ac.in.
According to the latest updates, Ranchi University will promote undergraduate and postgraduate students except for the final semester students on the basis of the mid-semester and practical marks.
