Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the official notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 exam anytime in the month of June. The 16th edition of the CTET exam is likely to be held in July 2022. The CTET 2022 exam process will begin with the release of the notification a PDF containing important dates related to the application and exam.

The CTET application form 2022 will be released on the official website after the issue of the notification. Candidates need to undertake the CTET registration 2022 in order to give the exam to attain eligibility as Classes 1 to 8 teachers.

CTET 2022 Important details

Have a look at some of the important details below regarding the CTET 2022 examination:

• Online exam mode: The CTET 2022 exam will be held online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam was held offline till 2019 session. The 15th edition of the CTET exam that was held in December 2021-January 2022 was the first-ever session of the exam to be held online.
• Exam to be held in several shifts: The CTET exam will be held in several sessions on multiple days. The exam is organised in two shifts on all the days.
• No negative marking: There is no negative marking in the CTET exam for wrong answers or unattempted questions.
• Lifetime validity: The CTET scores are now valid for life. The CTET eligibility certificate holds the validity of a lifetime.
