CTET & BTET qualified candidates stage protest in Patna demanding teaching jobs
CTET and BTET qualified candidates are staging a protest in Patna, Bihar demanding teaching jobs in the state. More than 5,000 aspirants are protesting and demanding jobs.
Candidates who have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) are demanding permanent teaching jobs by staging a protest in Patna, Bihar. Over 5,000 job aspirants have been protesting at Dak Bungalow Chowraha in Patna.
Protestants are demanding teaching jobs in primary and secondary schools. CTET and BTET qualified candidates have been waiting for three years to get a teaching job.
It may be noted here that Bihar Government has cancelled the conduct of the BTET with immediate effect in June 2022 as the CTET is being conducted every year by the Centre.
On the other hand, the Bihar STET exam was last conducted in 2020 after a long gap of eight years. The Bihar STET notification was released in 2019 and the exam was held in September 2020.
CTET 2022 Exam in December
The CTET 2022 exam will be conducted in December this year in the computer-based test (CBT) mode. The CTET notification 2022 will be released soon by the CBSE. This will be the 16th edition of the CTET exam.
