CUET 2022 Application and Correction Window Reopens; Apply by June 24

CUET 2022 application window has been reopened by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 23, at 9 am. Those who are yet to apply for the exam or wish to make corrections or modifications to the submitted CUET UG 2022 application form can utilise the facility till June 24, 11.50 pm. Citing the reason for reopening the application form, NTA has mentioned, “Since, it is the only exam for entry into Central University System (UG Courses), the Registration is once again being opened for one last time on the demand of the Candidates.”

The CUET 2022 exam dates are scheduled between July 15 and August 10, over a window of 10 days and two slots. As many as 9,50,804 candidates have registered. “One candidate has applied in more than five Universities, on an average, and there are more than 54,000 unique combinations of subjects chosen by various candidates,” NTA said. With the reopening of the CUET 2022 application window, it is expected that the total number of registrations will cross the 10 lakh mark.

How to Apply for CUET 2022

Follow the steps given below to apply for CUET 2022:

• Visit the official website of CUET 2022 - cuet.samarth.ac.in

• Click on the ‘Register’ tab placed at the top right side of the page

• Check the instructions and click on the agreement checkbox and press the ‘Click to Proceed’ tab

• Enter personal and communication details and select password

• Once the login credentials are generated, log in to complete the application process of CUET 2022

• Fill the application form with the mandatory details in terms of academic details, universities and programme selection, exam city selection and document upload

• The last and final step is to pay the application fee in online mode through Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, Paytm and UPI

Candidates have to upload documents such as photograph and signature in JPG format within 10 KB to 200 KB and 4 KB to 30 KB resolutions respectively. The Category Certificate (if applicable), has to be uploaded in PDF format of 50 KB to 300 KB resolution.

How to Make Corrections/Modifications in CUET 2022 Application Form

Only those candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee will be eligible to make the changes in the application form. NTA has stated the fields that are editable and those which are not. Let us take a look at each of these fields below:

NTA mentions, “If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any.”

CUET 2022 will be conducted in 13 languages in554 cities in India and 13 cities abroad. CUET UG 2022 scores will be accepted by 86 Universities out of which there are 43 Central Universities, 13 State Universities, 12 Deemed Universities and 18 Private Universities.
