CUET 2022 Registration Begins: The Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 application process for undergraduate courses in the central Universities for the academic year 2022-23 has started. The National Testing Agency has officially begun the CUET 2022 application process on April 6, 2022. The CUET 2022 application process is being conducted entirely in online format through the official website; i.e. cuet.samarth.ac.in.
All those students who are looking forward to appear for CUET 2022 must complete the application process after reading the CUET 2022 registration process carefully on or before May 6, 2022. CUET is expected to be conducted in the first and second week of July, the dates will be released soon on the official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. CUET 2022 will be held in 13 languages -- Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia and English. CUET 2022 will be held in 547 cities within India and in 13 cities outside India.
CUET 2022: Important guidelines
CUET 2022 application process is currently underway. With this, it is important for all the aspirants to know the important guidelines to keep in mind before filling out the application form:
Admission Criteria:
CUET 2022 will be used as a screening test for undergraduate admissions to 45 central universities. However, the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam and the admission criteria for courses will differ from university to university. Hence, students must check the admission policy and criteria of the university they are willing to pursue their higher studies. Candidates are advised to understand the university-specific and course-specific admission criteria and ensure that they qualify the same before applying for CUET 2022.
Details / Documents Required:
Applicants are advised to keep their personal documents like academic records, scanned copies of passport size photographs, Aaddhar Card, digital signatures ready before they start applying. All those candidates applying under category are advised to keep the category certificates.
Information Bulletin:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the information bulletin on its official website. Candidates are advised to visit the same to check the CUET 2022 exam pattern, format and structure. Candidates must read it carefully to avoid any last-minute surprises.
Mandatory for UG Admissions:
CUET 2022 was earlier known as the CUCET exam which was earlier held for admission to 14 central universities. However, from now onwards, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has made it mandatory for the candidates seeking admission into undergraduate courses in 45 central universities to appear for the same. In addition to this, several aided and private universities have also adopted CUET as a screening mechanism.
Eligibility Criteria:
The CUET 2022 official notification released by NTA also provides a detailed overview of the eligibility criteria that are to be followed for the entrance test. Candidates are advised to go through the same in advance before filling in the CUET 2022 application form.
How to fill CUET Application Form 2022
Candidates are advised to follow the simple steps given below to fill the application form:
- Go to the official website; i.e. cuet.samarth.ac.in
- Register by filling personal details and contact addresses
- Using the system generated registration or application number, complete the CUET 2022 application form
- Upload scanned documents including photograph, signature, Class 10 documents and caste certificate
- Pay the application fee online
- Submit the CUET 2022 UG application
- Download the form
- Take a few printouts for future usage.
