B.Des DAT Mains 2024 Test Center Selection Window will remain open from today, i.e. April 8, 2024, 4 PM to April 10, 2024, until 4 PM. The candidate will be provided with an interface on https://admissions.nid.edu to choose a test centre of their choice. 

NID to open B.Des DAT Mains 2024 Test Center Selection Window today, i.e. April 8, 2024, at 4 PM

National Institute of Design (NID) is all set to open B.Des DAT Mains 2024 Test Center Selection Window today, i.e. April 8, 2024, at 4 PM. According to the official information shared by the institute, β€œthe candidate will be provided with an interface on https://admissions.nid.edu to choose a test centre of their choice between 4 pm, Monday, April 8, 2024 up to 4 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2024.” B.Des DAT Mains 2024 Test Center Selection Window will open at https://admissions.nid.edu.

In order to make selection, the candidates have to log-in using their login credentials. The exact timings of the Studio Test and address of the Test Centre will be communicated in the Admit Card.

B.Des DAT Mains Studio Test on April 28

The B.Des DAT Mains Studio Test is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, April 28, 2024. The Studio Test shall be conducted at the following cities viz, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata & Kurukshetra.

β€œThe DAT Mains test centre will have to be selected by the candidates themselves ONLY. Allotment of DAT Mains test centre will be on first-cum-first serve basis. Once submitted, change in the test centre will not be accommodated. Candidates who fail to submit their test centre preference, will be allotted the test centre automatically by the system based on the number of seats available at the respective test centres. The discretion to allot any test centre rests with the Admissions Cell -NID Ahmedabad,” the notice reads.

Important Instructions 

  1. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for the Studio Test in order to be eligible for the final stage of admissions.
  2. Rescheduling of Studio Test or change in the Test Centre will not be accommodated, under any circumstances.
  3. Admit Cards for the Studio Test can be downloaded on Monday, 15 April 2024 from 4 pm onwards.
  4. It is sole responsibility of the candidate to download and print the Admit Card for the Studio Test. The candidates are required to bring the hard copy of the Admit Card along with the original photo ID proofs, as mentioned in the Admit Card for the Studio Test.
  5. ONLY the candidates will be allowed entry into the examination centre. Parents/ friends/ relatives shall not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
  6. Appearing for DAT Mains or being shortlisted for the further stage of admissions process does NOT guarantee automatic entitlement to admissions.
  7. NID reserves the right to add or remove any test centre and allot a test centre that may not be of the candidate's choice. A city may have more than one test centre.
  8. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to check for any updates on the Admissions website (https://admissions.nid.edu).
