The websites for CEED and UCEED 2023 were launched on September 25, but began malfunctioning soon after.
IIT Bombay has fixed the CEED and UCEED 2023 exam websites - ceed.iitb.ac.in/2023/ and uceed.iitb.ac.in/2023/. The websites now contain all the relevant information pertaining to the respective exams, including the information brochure, important dates, key resources (including question papers), etc.
The two websites started malfunctioning around September 26; at that point, clicking on the exam website re-directed the candidate to an Industrial Research and Consultancy Centre page of IIT Bombay. The original website content was missing. In some cases, the link was also not working at all.
UCEED and CEED 2023 exam notification
IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2023 and UCEED 2023 entrance exams on January 22, 2023.
The UCCED 2023 exam is conducted for admission to the B.Des program offered by the five participating colleges. The combined intake capacity is 199 seats.
Meanwhile, the CEED 2023 exam is conducted for admission to the M.Des and Ph.D. courses offered by participating institutes.
Another major difference between UCEED 2023 and CEED 2023, is IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Admission Process for UCEED 2023 qualified candidates once the results are declared.
However, there will be no Joint Admission Process for CEED 2023 qualified candidates. Instead, post declaration on CEED 2023 results, the candidate has to apply separately to CEED 2023 participating institutes.
CEED 2023 and UCEED 2023 application form opens on Sept. 30
The application forms for CEED 2023 and UCEED 2023 will commence in online mode on September 30, 2022.
With a regular fee, applications can be submitted till October 21, while with a late fee of Rs. 500, applications will be accepted till October 29.
