UCEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the UCEED 2025 exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Age Limit
- General Category: Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2000.
- SC, ST, and PwD Categories: Candidates in these categories should be born on or after October 1, 1995.
Number of Attempts
- Candidates can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, and the attempts must be in consecutive years.
Qualifying Examination
- Candidates must have passed all subjects in the 10+2 examination in 2024 or should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2025.
- Students from all streams—Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities—are eligible to apply.
- Candidates who appeared for their qualifying examination (Class XII) for the first time in 2022 or earlier are not eligible to appear for UCEED 2025.
Validity of Scores
- The UCEED scores are valid for one year and are only applicable for admissions in the corresponding academic year.
CEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the M.Des program through CEED must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have completed a 3-year degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree program after the 10+2 level.
- Candidates appearing for the final examination of such programs in 2024 can also apply, provided they complete their qualifying exam at the time of admission or pass the GD Arts diploma program (10+5 level) by July 2025.
Age Limit
- No Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CEED 2025 exam.
Number of Attempts
- No Limitations: There is no restriction on the number of attempts for appearing in the CEED exam.

IIT Bombay accepts GATE score for admission to MTech course. Candidates must have a BE/ BTech/ BSc/ Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning/ MSc/ MCA/ MBBS/ MPharm/ BPharma/ BDS/ degree recognised equivalent to BE/ BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category). For MTech General-All India, cut offs for GATE 2024 closed off at score 600 for MTech in Chemical Engineering and 750 for Computer Science and Engineering. Similarly, for MTech in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, the GATE score closed off on 650.

To apply for UCEED 2025, candidate must the following THREE criteria:
Criterion 1 – Age limit: The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2000, if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and born on or after October 1, 1995, if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.
Criterion 2 – Number of attempts: The candidate is allowed to attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, and that too in consecutive years.
Note that the UCEED score is valid for one year and only for admissions in the same corresponding academic year.
Criterion 3 – Qualifying examination: The candidate should have passed all subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or
