IICD Entrance Exam 2022: Online personal interview conducted from June 27 onward

Candidates who have been shortlisted for the online interview are intimated about the interview schedule through their registered email ids.

The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) is conducting the personal interview for eligible candidates in online mode from June 27-July 4, 2022. The personal interview is the last part of the three-part IICD 2022 admission process and carries 20% weightage.

Candidates have been shortlisted for the personal interview based on their performance in the Portfolio Review and written exam.

IICD 2022 entrance exam components and weightage.

The IICD exam has three parts. 

• Part A - Question Paper (written exam) that carries 30% weightage
• Part B - Portfolio Submission; it carries 50% weightage.
• Part C - Personal Interview; it carries 20% weightage.

IICD 2022 online personal interview - Skills tested

The online personal interview will test the following attributes of the candidate:

• Aptitude to Crafts
• Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
• Communication Ability
• General Awareness about Crafts & Design
• Overall Personal Achievements in Academics and Co-Curricular Activities.

Declaration of IICD 2022 entrance exam results

The institute will declare the 1st list of successful candidates on July 14, 2022. Candidates who have been selected for admission will have to pay the admission fee from July 14 onward and confirm their seats.

The second and final list will be released on July 26; the fee can be paid from July 26 onward.

Reporting for admission, Registration, and Document Verification

Candidates included in the admission list will have to report for admission sometime around Mid-August 2022. 

Classes will commence in end-August or early September 2022.
