NID DAT 2023 prelims exam to be held tomorrow, check exam timings, guidelines here

Candidates appearing for the exam must carry NID DAT 2023 admit card and a valid ID proof to the examination centre. 

Candidates can download NIDA DAT 2023 admit card from the official website at admissions.nid.edu. The NID DAT is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) courses offered on various NID campuses across the country    

NID DAT 2023 prelims exam will be of three-hour duration. The exam will consist of a total of 26 subjective and objective-type questions. Candidates must report to the examination centre half an hour before the exam begins as no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after 9.30 am.

NID DAT 2023: Exam day guidelines 

• Do not scribble on the NID DAT 2023 admit card 
• Report to the NID DAT 2023 exam centre at 8 am. Note that gates close at 9.30 am, and after that, no candidate will be allowed entry inside the exam center. 
• On exam day, bring with you a printout of the admit card and a valid photo id proof such as Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Student ID - Current school/college, Driving Licence, Attested (No photo provided ID) 
• The question booklet for the NID DAT 2023 shouldn’t be brought outside the exam centre. 
• The candidate cannot leave the exam centre until the NID DAT 2023 exam is over. 
• Carry your own pencil, pens, sharpeners, erasers, rulers, etc.  
• Candidate must not take electronic gadgets such as smartphones, smartwatches, etc, study material, written texts, or any other objectionable items to the examination centre. 

The NID DAT prelims exam will be conducted in the following cities - Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kurukshetra, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, and Vijayawada.
