The NID DAT 2023 prelims exam will be conducted tentatively in the first week of January. 

The National Institute of Design (NID) will soon commence the online registration process for NID DAT 2023. Aspirants seeking admission to BDes and MDes programmes on NID campuses can register for NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2023 online on the official website at admissions.nid.edu. The NID DAT 2023 prelims exam will be conducted tentatively in the first week of January. 

How to fill NID DAT 2023 application form  

Candidates can fill the NID DAT 2023 application form by following the below-mentioned steps. 

  • Visit the official website of NID DAT 2023, admissions.nid.edu  
  • Click on the Registration Tab. A registration form will open 
  • Fill the registration form 
  • On successful registration, a log-in account will be created 
  • Fill in the NID DAT 2023 application form 
  • Upload all requisite documents and pay NID DAT 2023 application fee 
  • Take a print out of NID DAT 2023 application form for future reference

NID DAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates seeking admission to the BDes programme need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria 

  • Candidates must pass the 10+2 exam or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised board. 
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2022 can also fill out the NID entrance exam application form 2023 
  • Candidates belonging to general and general EWS categories must be born on or after July 1, 2002. OBC-Non Creamy Layer/ST/SC and PwD reserved candidates have three years and five years of relaxation in the upper age limit. 

In the case of MDes programme, the candidate must obtain a bachelor’s degree of a minimum of four years duration.
