The National Institute of Design has declared the seat allotment of NID DAT 2024 for the B.Des program today. The allotment of seats has been made basis the merit rank of the candidate in the NID DAT 2024 exam and campus option selected. The direct link to download the seat allotment letter is given below. Such candidates who have been allotted seats need to pay the seat-confirmation fees and upload documents by May 31, 2024 (4 pm).
Note that if the fee is not paid within the given deadline, the allotment will be cancelled and allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit.
Earlier, NID conducted campus submission for shortlisted candidates from May 21-23, 2024. The results of the B.Des DAT Mains 2024 exam were declared on May 21, 2024.

Who can apply for an upgrade?
If the candidate is offered a first-choice seat, then the candidate canβt apply for another seat. Also, if the candidate declines the seat, he or she will be disqualified from subsequent admission rounds.
However, if the candidate is offered a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th choice, then the candidate will be considered for an upgrade in subsequent rounds if they decline the seat offered.
