NID DAT 2024 (Prelims) exam to be held on Dec 24; application form open

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses at the NID can fill out the application form Sep 8 -Dec 1 with regular fees. Check here for key updates about the exam.

The National Institute of Design (NID) opened the application form for NID DAT 2024 on September 8, 2024. The application form is open online at admissions.nid.edu. The NID 2024 application form is for admission to the B.Des and M.Des courses offered by NID participating colleges. The last date to submit completed application forms is December 1, 2023. However, with late fees, applications will be accepted up to December 3, 2023.

The National Institute of Design will conduct the DAT Prelims exam on December 24, 2024; note that the DAT Prelims exam in the previous edition was conducted on January 8, 2023.

Candidates may note that the Design Aptitude Test or DAT is conducted in two stages: DAT Prelims, followed by DAT Mains.

The scores of DAT Prelims will be used to shortlist candidates for DAT Mains.

The FINAL merit list of NID DAT 2024 will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
