NID final result 2021 for MDes declared

NID result 2021 for MDes has been announced today. Know how to check NID DAT result here. 

The National Institute of Design has announced the NID DAT 2021 final result for MDes today (August 2). Candidates can check their NID entrance exam result by using details such as their registered email address and date of birth on the official website of the institute. NID DAT result for Prelims was released by National Institute of Design (NID) on June 18. NID cutoff 2021 in the form of minimum qualifying criteria was released for both BDes and MDes on July 27. 

How to download NID result for MDes

• Go to the official website of NID. 
• Click on the link for MDes Final Result. 
• Enter the login credentials – registered email address and date of birth. 
• Click on ‘Submit’ button. 
• View and download NID Final result for MDes. 
• Take a print of the result for future reference. 

NID DAT 2021 Merit List  

Separate merit lists are prepared for NID DAT Prelims and NID DAT Mains. Thus, candidates who make it to the merit list of NID DAT Prelims then need to appear for the Studio Test and Interview round as per the schedule shared by NID authorities. Final merit list for NID admissions 2021 is prepared by calculating the sum total of scores obtained by students in each stage of NID admission process. The common merit list is generated based on the percentile score, which is calculated by using the formula below:   

NID DAT merit list is prepared category-wise, that is, different lists are released for Open, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD category candidates. Further, a separate NID merit list is prepared for Overseas candidates.
