NIFT 2022 seat allotment announced for Round IV at niftadmissions.in

Candidates who have been allotted seats need to pay the seat acceptance fee. In the case of candidates who are not allotted any seats, fresh registrations are not needed.

The National Institute of Technology (NIFT) has declared the seat allotment results for NIFT 2022 on July 8. As per the revised schedule allotment was scheduled for July 5 but got delayed. The seat allotment status can be checked in online mode by entering one’s email id and password. Candidates who are allotted seats will also be able to download the provisional seat allotment letter.

How to check NIFT 2022 seat allotment

To check their seat allotment status, candidates need to follow these steps:

1. Click on the seat allotment 
2. The candidate will be redirected to the admission page
3. Click on the seat allotment link displayed prominently at the top
4. A log-in window will open
5. Sign in by entering email id and password
6. The seat allotment status will appear on the screen
7. Check allotment status and download the provisional allotment letter.

NIFT 2022 Counseling Process

The counseling process of NIFT 2022 is being conducted in online mode and has five seat allotment rounds. Eligible candidates had to register for NIFT 2022 counseling between May 25 to June 4, 2022.

The allotment of seats is done considering:

• The NIFT 2022 merit rank of the candidate
• Seats available 
• The academic program and NIFT selected by the candidate and their order of priority.

The 5th and final round of seat allotment for NIFT 2022 is scheduled for July 11. But considering allotment or Round IV got delayed, the allotment for Round V might also get delayed.
