The NIFT counseling process is conducted in online mode and has five rounds. Allotment will be made considering merit rank and options selected during choice filling.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will declare the seat allotment for NIFT 2022 for Round 2 on June 20, 2022. The allotment results would be released at the admission portal of the institute - nift.ac.in/admission. To check their allotment status, the candidate will have to log-in to the portal using their email id and password.
Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to pay the seat acceptance fee in online mode between June 20-23, 2022. Note that NIFT 2022 seat allotment for Round I was announced on June 14.
NIFT 2022 Seat Allotment Process
The allotment of seats will be made by considering:
- The NIFT 2022 merit rank of the candidate
- The category under which admission is sought
- The preference (academic program and college) selected and their order.
- The seat intake for the program applied for admission
The online registration and choice filling for NIFT 2022 counseling was conducted in online mode from May 25 to June 4, 2022.
