NIFT 2022 to be held as online proctored test; details at nift.ac.in

As per the notification, detailed guidelines for the NIFT 2022 entrance exam will be announced on January 23, 2022. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2022 Entrance Exam, which was to be held in offline mode, i.e. pen and paper-based mode, will now be held as an online remote proctored entrance exam on February 6, 2022. Candidates can check the detailed notification at nift.ac.in.  

According to the official notification issued by the NIFT, “Due to unprecedented Covid-19 situaton and the increasing number of cases, the Entrance Examination, CAT/GAT, for Admissions-2022 scheduled on 06 February, 2022, will now be conducted online as a proctored examination. The details of conduct of the examination and detailed instructions for the same will be notified on the NIFT website on 23rd January, 2022.” 

The institute has only notified that the exam mode is being changed and that it will now be held as an online proctored test. It is yet to announce any specific changes in the exam format or test structure as such. The exam authority will provide detailed guidelines for the NIFT 2022 entrance exam on January 23, 2022. 

The NIFT 2022 application window is now open with late fees. The last date to fill the NIFT 2022 application form without late fees was January 17, however, with late fees, the application can be submitted from January 18-22, 2022. The admit cards for the exam will be available for download from January 29, 2022.
