The Situation Test for the B.Des program is being conducted from March 24-27. The Situation Test is conducted at various NIFT campuses.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is conducting the Situation Test for the B.Des program from March 24-27, 2023. The Situation Test is conducted offline at NIFT campuses. The candidate was given an opportunity to select NIFT campuses by March 16 (5 pm). The Situation Test is the 2nd stage of the NIFT 2023 admission process and is open to candidates who have qualified in the written exam.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducted the written exams - the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) - on February 5, 2023. The results of the NIFT 2023 written exams were declared on march 13, 2023.
The Personal Interview for the PG courses is also conducted currently from March 20 (onward).

Who can participate in NIFT 2023 Situation Test?
Candidates have been shortlisted for the Situation Test based on their performance in the CAT and GAT exams. The eligibility criteria of the candidate are mentioned in the NIFT 2023 scorecard.
NIFT Situation Test 2023
The Situation Test will evaluate the material handling and innovativeness of the candidate. The Situation Test will be a hands-on test, and the candidate will be provided with the material with which they have to make a model.
Note that the Situation Test will be evaluated on the Spot.
