NIFT 2023 Situation Test starts on March 24; Check key details here

The Situation Test for the B.Des program will be conducted from March 24-27. Admit cards are now available online at the NIFT 2023 admission portal. Candidates who have successfully selected campuses can download admit cards using their email id and password.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) released the NIFT 2023 admit card for the Situation Test (B.Des program) on March 20. The admit card can be downloaded online by entering one’s email id and password. The Situation Test will be conducted at various NIFT campuses from March 24-27. The Situation Test will be a hands-on test that will evaluate the creative skills and material handling ability of the candidate in a given situation.

Candidates who have qualified the GAT and CAT written exams for the B.Des program are eligible to appear in the Situation Test.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology had earlier released NIFT 2023 admit cards for the Personal Interview for admission to the PG courses on March 18, 2023.

Steps to download the B.Des NIFT 2023 admit card

To download the admit cards for the Situation Tes, follow the steps given below.

1. Go to the NIFT 2023 admission portal - Click Here
2. Click on the admit card download link
3. You will be redirected to the candidate log-in page; click on the log-in option
4. In the log-in window that opens, enter your email id and password
5. The admit card will appear on the screen
6. Download and take a printout of the NIFT 2023 admit card.

NIFT 2023 Situation Test - Key Points

• The Situation Test is scheduled from March 24-27, 2023
• Candidates have been shortlisted for the Situation Test based on their performance in the written exams - CAT and GAT
• The Situation Test will be conducted offline at NIFT campuses.
• The details of the campus allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the NIFT 2023 admit card.
• The Situation Test is a practical exam. The candidate will be provided with a set of materials. Using these materials the candidate will be asked to make various models. The candidate will also have to explain the model through a write-up.
• The Situation Test will evaluate the candidate's creative ability and material handling skills in the given situation.
