NIFT 2024 application form to open soon; check important updates here

NIFT application will be for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, M.F.Tech, B.F.Tech, and M.F. M courses offered by participating colleges. The application will open online at niftadmissions.in.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the application form for the NIFT 2024 exam tentatively in the 1st week of November 2024. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria have to fill out the application form online at niftadmissions.in. As part of the application filling process, the candidate will have to get registered, fill in personal, academic, and contact details, upload documents, and pay the application fees.

The NIFT application fee is INR 3000 for open, and INR 1500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories. 

Note that candidates applying after the due date have to pay a late fee of INR 5000.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology is likely to conduct the NIFT 2024 exam tentatively in the 1st week of February 2024. The NIFT entrance exam comprises two parts - CAT and GAT.

The CAT or Creative Ability Test is only mandatory for B.Des and M.Des courses. Candidates seeking admission to other courses only need to take the GAT.

How to apply for NIFT 2024

The step-wise NIFT 2024 application process is given below.

1. Registration - The candidate will have to get registered using their email IDs, mobile numbers, and other personal details.
2. Filling out the form - After successful registration, fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select an exam center from the drop-down menu. 
3. Uploading of documents - The candidate has to next upload their photographs, signature, birth proof, and qualifying exam certificates as per the given instructions.
4. Payment of application fees - To complete the application process, the candidate will have to pay the application fee online. The category-wise application fee for NIFT 2024 is given below.
