IIHMR University Welcomes 4th Batch of eMPH and eMHA Programme; 67 Students Enrolled
The inaugural programme for the fourth cohort included 50 professionals from the Master of Public Health (MPH) (Executive) programme and 17 professionals from the Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) (Executive) programmes beginning their academic journey.
IIHMR University hosted the inaugural program for the fourth cohort of its Master of Public Health (MPH) (Executive) and Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) (Executive) programs for the academic session 2024-26. A total of 50 professionals from eMPH and 17 professionals from eMHA have been enrolled in the aforesaid two programmes. The university reported that the eMPH batch has 25 female and 25 male candidates, and the eMHA batch has 9 female and 8 male students including participants from government organisations, NGOs, hospitals and consultancies.
The president of IIHMR University, Dr PR Sodani shared their delight with the fourth cohort stating “With a rich legacy of 40 years in healthcare management education, we are deeply committed to empowering professionals with the skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities required to drive transformative change in healthcare systems. The Master of Public Health (Executive) and Master of Hospital Administration (Executive) programs are tailored to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector, enabling professionals to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.”
Reportedly, the programmes included participation from professionals from several backgrounds. Out of all, 23 candidates for the eMPH programme are from the government organisation, followed by 22 candidates from private hospitals and consultancies. Besides, five participants are from NGOs and 12 from private hospitals, consultancies and more. The programmes witnessed students with professional experience with an average of 10 years for eMPH and 9 years for eMHA programme.
