NIFT Admissions 2021: Offline registration for artisans begins; Know where and how to apply

National Institute of Fashion Technology has started the offline registration process for BDes course admissions 2021 offered to artisans/ children of artisans.

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has started the offline registration process for the admission under Artisans/ Children of Artisans category. Aspiring candidates must note that they need to apply under Artisans/ Children of Artisans category on or before March 21, 2021. Though no official date has been announced yet, the studio test and interview of students under the said category will be held in the second week of April, as per the notification released by NIFT. Students must note that the NIFT 2021 studio test and interview under Artisans/ Children of Artisans category will be conducted at NIFT Campus.

NIFT Admissions 2021: How to Register?

Aspirants can go through the steps given below to know how to fill and submit their NIFT application form for admission under the Artisans/ Children of Artisans category:

  • Go to the official website of NIFT admissions 2021 or click here
  • Click on the tab stating 'Online Registration for Artisans/Children of Artisans - NIFT Admission 2021'
  • You will be redirected to a new window
  •  Click on a link stating 'Fresh Candidate (Click Here) to Create login' 
  • Create your login ID for NIFT admissions by filling in details like name, category, DoB, PwD status, Programme type etc. (Note: Information once filled cannot be edited later)

  • Once the login ID is created, you will be redirected to the NIFT admission website
  • Complete your registration process on the home page. Details that you need to provide as part of their NIFT application form for admission under the Artisans/ Children of Artisans category includes, Choice of the test centre, Mother's Name, Father's name and other details
  • Candidates need to upload their photograph and signature in their NIFT application form. In case the candidate is applying for admission under this category because his/ her parent is an artisan then the candidate needs to upload the document confirming the same as well

  • Pay application fee

  • Click on the submit button

  • Candidates must note that they need to take a clear print of their application form for NIFT admissions 2021
