The CEED 2024 and UCEED 2024 exams were conducted today from 9 am - 12 noon.

Yes, the application form for NIFT 2024 is currently open for the PhD program. The application form is open online @ exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.

The results of the written exam will be declared in March 2024.The scores of the exam will be used to shortlist candidates for the next admission round - Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

It is not compulsory to have studied Maths in Class 12 to appear in the NIFT exam.

No, you are not allowed to carry any electronic gadgets inside the NIFT 2024 exam centre, including mobile phones, calculators, etc.

Only B.Des and M.Des applicants need to take the Creative Ability Test (CAT). Other candidates only need to take the General Ability Test (GAT).

In the days leading up to the exam, there is a chance you may get anxious and there may be a built-up of stress.

To tackle this, do some light exercise, eat light (especially at night), stay hydrated, and sleep the full quota of hours. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) hasn't given any indication that it will hold any mock tests before the written exams. If any notification in this regard is released, we will let the student know.

You must solve as many sample papers as you can. But don't overpress. 

Also, when solving a sample paper, see whether you are improving or not. Other thing is solve different types of questions, rather than focusing one particular type.

With a few days left for the NIFT exam, it is not at all a good idea to start a new topic. It is because, at this stage, you must be more concerned about the revision of topics that you have already prepared for the NIFT 2024 exam.

You also need to solve sample papers and take mock tests.

But if you start a new topic, it will eat into your preparation time and may mess things up.

To download the admit card of NIFT 2024, follow these rules:

1. Go to the NTA admission portal
2. Click on the admit card link
3. A log in window will open
4. Fill in your candidate credentials
5. On log-in, you can download the NIFT 2024 admit card.

There is no latest update on the admit card, as neither the NTA nor NIFT has released any official notification on the specific date for the release of the admit card.

Note that the city intimation slip has also been not released yet.

NIFT 2024 cutoff will be the minimum score a candidate needs to secure in their respective category to be considered for admission to the design program selected. 

The cut-off will be category-specific.

If a candidate fails to meet the cut-off in a seat-allotment round, he or she will be considered for admission in the next round. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off in the last round of allotment, then he or she may not get admission at all.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release admission cut-offs for NIFT 2024.

The cut-offs will be released at the time of counseling and seat allotment. As per the tentative schedule released by the institute, NIFT 2024 counseling will be held in May-June 2024.

The merit list of NIFT 2024 will be prepared by giving weightage to various components like GAT, CAT, and Situation Test/ Interview.

Also, note that if the candidate doesn't take the Situation Test or isn't shortlisted, he or she will not be included in the merit list.

The NIFT exam will be conducted in the following cities.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.F.Tech program only need to appear in the GAT paper. They are not required to take the CAT or Situation Test.

B.Des and M.Des candidates need to appear in a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT).

The following specializations are offered for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program:

Through the NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) scheme you can apply for admission to 3rd semester of a UG program if you have completed your Diploma in a relevant or related field. 

The application form for the NLEA category is now closed.

There is no option to edit the extended application form for NIFT 2024.

Note that the extended application form was open from January 15-16, 2024. 

The NIFT 2024 application form is now closed. So, if you missed the application's last date, you no longer can fill out the application form.

Note that the application form for the next session will open sometime in November or December 2025.

So, if you meet the eligibility criteria in the upcoming session, you may apply.

The UCEED 2024 exam will be conducted on January 21, 2024 (9 am - 12 noon). The exam is conducted for admission to the B.Des program offered by participating colleges.

The candidate needs to carry with them a printout of the NIFT 2024 admit card. Digital copies will not be accepted.

Since the NTA is conducting the NIFT exam for the first time in 2024, there are no previously available samples of the intimation slip.

The city intimation slip is a document that will be released through the candidate log-in. As the name suggests, the slip is intended to intimate the candidate about the exam centre allocated to them.

Note the allocation of exam city will be as per the city option selected by the candidate at the time of filling out the application form.
