The Spot Round is the last round of allotment and concludes the NIFT 2022 seat allotment process. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has declared the seat allotment results for the Spot Round (Final Round) on July 30. The allotment is made on the basis of choices opted by the candidates and their NIFT 2022 merit rank. Fresh registrations were conducted for the Spot Round from July 21-24.

The counseling process for NIFT 2022 was conducted in online mode as a joint seat allocation process for admission to the 17 participating colleges.

The allotment of seats for the Spot Round is made on the basis of the following factors:

  1. NIFT 2022 merit rank
  2. The choices opted by the candidate at the time of counseling registration.

Note that for the Spot Round, fresh registrations were conducted between July 21 and 24. At the time of counseling registration, the candidate had to select their choice of course and program in the order of their priority.

Candidates who have been allocated seats need to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm their seats. 

Also, the candidate should get in their allotted campuses to get updates about their joining and orientation programs. The joining dates can also be checked on the official website of the allotted campus.
