NIFT Counseling 2023 - Additional vacant seats released for SPOT Round

The seat allotment for the Spot Round will be announced on August 2, 2023. As per the latest notification, in addition to the vacant seats published on the NIFT website, seats are also available for Fashion Design at NIFT Bengaluru. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has notified that there are additional seats available for the Spot Round. This is in addition to the list of vacant seats published by NIFT on its admission portal. These seats are available at NIFT Bengaluru for the Fashion Design program. However, NIFT hasn’t given any specific figures, as to how many seats are available. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology will declare the seat allotment results for the SPOT Round on August 2, 2023. 

NIFT 2023 seat allotment criteria - Spot Round

The allotment of seats will be made considering the following factors:

• The seat intake capacity for the SPOT Round 
• The common merit rank (CMR) of candidates
• The preferences - the combination of academic program and institute and their priority - opted for at the time of NIFT 2023 counseling registration.

The National Institute of Fashion Technolgy has the following intake for the SPOT Round of NIFT 2023 counseling:

• Seats available for the Fashion Design program at NIFT Bangalore
• Seats available for the Textile Design program at NIFT Kannur
