Candidates who have registered for the Spot Round will be considered for seat allotment. The allotment will be based on the Common Merit Rank (CMR) of the candidate and courses opted for at the time of registration.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will release the NIFT 2023 seat allotment for the Spot Round at 5 pm, Today (August 2, 2023). The allotment will be released online at niftadmissions.in. To check their seat allotment status, the candidate will have to log in to the portal using their email id and password. The allotment of seats will be based on the NIFT 2023 merit rank of the candidate, available seats, and options selected at the time of registration for the Spot Round.

The seat allotment for the Spot Round will be made considering the following points:
- The common merit rank (CMR) of the candidate
- The seat intake for the SPOT Round
- The academic course and colleges picked at the time of registration and their order of priority.
How to check NIFT 2023 seat allotment for Spot Round
The candidate can check their seat allotment status by following these steps:
- Go to the NIFT admission portal
- Click on the seat allotment link
- In the log-in window that opens, enter your email id and password
- On log-in, you can download the seat allotment letter.
