NIFT Counselling 2022 - Seat Allotment for PwD category to be out on June 8

The joining seat allocation process for NIFT 2022 is being conducted in online mode for admission to the 17 participating NIFTs.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will announce the NIFT 2022 seat allotment for the PwD category on June 8. The seat allotment process is conducted separately for the PwD and non-PwD categories. The PwD category has a single seat allotment round, while there will be five rounds of seat allotments for the non-PwD category.

The seat allotment for non-PwD categories will be announced on the following dates: June 13, June 20, June 27, July 4, and July 11. 

Basis of NIFT 2022 seat allotment:

The allotment of seats will be based on the following factors:

1. The merit rank of the candidate in NIFT 2022
2. The choices filled by the candidate at the time of counseling registration (academic program + NIFT)
3. The seat intake for the applied program
4. The category under which admission is sought

NIFT 2022 Counselling - Acceptance of seat and payment of fees

Candidates who have been allotted seats need to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm their seats. 

Post seat allotment on June 8, PwD candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee online between June 13-16.
